ZigZag Unmasked

For the avid ZigZagians who continue to religiously devote themselves to my fashion hungry proverbs, I'd like to share something with you. It seems almost unjust that I'd ask for you to listen to any ounce of what I find to be fashionable and chic without giving you a sneak peek of me --unmasked. Tomboy at heart, obsessive bohemian glam, punk rock influenced and lavish layers: here are the outfits behind the writing.

All photos courtesy of Torrey Fox Photography. An up and coming local photographer that can make even the shyest of writers look fashionably confidant. Torrey is a San Francisco native and was born peering through a lens. Her well-trained eyes exert minimal effort and have the ability to create the essence that fashion photography craves --grounded art with an interesting and seductive perspective. Check out her books for an intriguing glimpse of the simple and subdued transformed into the extraordinary.

Color Coordinated

Free People's March catalog defies the color wheel and animates a collection of layering goodies, high-wasted silhouettes, unforgettable fringe, tattered cottons and confident color. The gamete of vibrant authenticity speaks to a collection that is fearless in fit and style.

Chunky accessories characterize each outfit with worn down metals and natural stone hues. The bold color combinations reverberate the brand's mission and name. Effortless, free, funky, reminiscent, confidant and chic. Free people prevailed again, now all we need is some summer sun.

Moss Still Has It

Kate Moss sizzled and stunned the audience at Louis Vuitton's Fall 2011 show at Paris Fashion Week. Her guest appearance was alongside fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell. Moss made her imfamous arrival unforgettable by casually smoking a cigarette. Her reportage is clearly eminent beyond being affected by archaic catwalk nerves. Moss' confidence radiated from start to finish as she defied the stigma of age which most models fear result in the death of a career. Her beauty timeless and there will always be a place for a guest appearance by Kate Moss on any catwalk worldwide.

Born Which Way?

Lady Gaga's Born This Way music video debuted this past Monday. This kaleidoscope adventure is jam-packed full of powerful and necessary messages and portrayed through the artistic eyes of Gaga. There is no doubt that this video required devout dedication to create from beginning to end.

This may appear a delayed post, but this is a video that calls for excessive reflection and may result in confusion and motion sickness. All I can say is the make-up is phenomenal and at least her chain-clad bikini is accessorized to perfection. I am rarely speechless, but this video speaks for itself. You'll need time to reflect. Eat your hearts out little monsters.
